31. UPWARD FACING DOG- URDHVA MUHKA SVANASANA
Instructions:
1. Lie down on your stomach. Place your palms on the
ground on two sides of your chest.
2. Breathing in raise your face and chest up.
3. Raise your waist also above the ground till your
arms become straight.
4. Remain in this
position for 5 to 8 seconds, breathing in and out slowly, concentrating on the
breathing.
5. Breathing out,
come back to pose number 1.
Benefits: opens chest, strengthens arms, and relieves
back pain.
