43. LIZARD POSE - UTTHANA PRISTHASANA



43. Lizard Pose - Utthana Pristhasana


Instructions:

1. Lie on your stomach.
2. Breathing in, place your hands on either side of your chest and raise your body off the ground till only your toes and palms touch the ground but with elbows straight.
3. Breathing out bring your arms to the ground.
4. Breathing in bring your left feet close to your left elbow.
5. Remain in this position breathing in and out slowly, concentrating on the breathing.
6. Breathing in take your left feet back close to right feet.
7. Breathing out, raise your body to come to all fours.
8. Breathing in bring your feet close to your hands.
9. Breathing out, come to standing position.

Benefits: stretches groin
