60. PIGEON POSE - KAPOTASANA



60. pigeon pose - kapotasana


Instructions:
1. Stand straight.
2. Breathing in, bend forward to come to all fours like in downward facing dog.
3. Breathing out, Swing your left leg, bending it in front of you, bringing your right leg on to the floor.
4. Breathing in, bring your left hand outside your left  thigh and place your right palm outside your left feet. Keep your back straight.
5. Remain in this position for 5 breathe in and breathe out.
6. Breathing in come to position no.3.
7. Breathing out come to pose number 2.
8. Breathing in come to pose number 1.
Repeat the same starting with the other leg.

Benefits: Stretches thighs, groins, opens chest and shoulders.
